Here's an interesting fact for you: According to a study done by the University of Iowa, 3.74 pounds of carbon dioxide are emitted for every mile that's traveled by a tractor-trailer.

What that means is that if you live in Boston, a load of strawberries that's come from California has put approximately 1,164 pounds of carbon dioxide into the air. That's a lot of carbon dioxide!
